Why Most Veterans do not have a VA loan

         It is a sad fact that a great many Veterans are in non VA loans. Too many GIs have experienced unnecessary down payments and high monthly mortgage payments. The lenders they went to for a VA loan said they can do a VA loan. The truth is the VA loan is only for experienced VA mortgage professionals. The average mortgage professional does not know what a DD214, NGB-22, or 26-1880 is.
